Domino's advertise 'Free Delivery' on the side of their vans as well as in store.  However, to have a specific pizza delivered costs £12, but if you go into the store, the exact same pizza is £8.50.  So how can they say they are offering free delivery?

Also, last week when in the store I placed my order and the girl behind the counter said...'Oh, there is a buy one, get one free offer on that pizza'.  I know this pizza is £8.50, so I asked her how much it was again, to which she replied £12.50.  So I questioned her on it....if you go for the 'Buy one get one free offer' it costs £12.50, if you don't want the offer, it is only £8.50.

So how can they be giving one for free if they are charging an extra £4?  Does anyone know if this is in anyway breaking any sort of trading standards?  I'm sure they have themselves covered, but it seems dodgy to me.

The reason for the Pizza being £8.50 is because its a carry out offer.  The reason Domino's do Carry out offers is because they are re known as delivery specialists. 

You will read on the menu that you cannot use an offer in conjunction with any other offer.  I would say its pretty simple and you are being pretty thick...

Avoid Pizza Hut, Domino's etc at all costs.  Way better pizzas to be found through independents.

Firstly was not a personal insult it is a fact.  Secondly - check the menu again and you will not see the pizza you normally go for at £8.50.  Also when you are in the shop have a look...generally in the window you will see Carryout offers Any Small Pizza £6.95, Any Medium Pizza £8.95 or Any Large Pizza £9.95 etc.

i went to the one in Kennedy Way in Belfast a while ago--they do have the thickest staff, i went out to my car while i waited and went back in 15 minutes later, the stupid stinkin girl said she gave me the Pizza, i said she didnt, then she said "oh mummy this isnt my fuckin day, i musta gave it to them wee fellas, do u want us to put another one on?" i said "na, i just came in here to give you £12-50 for nothin in return" --she said "waa?!" and i said put one on now u spa" it took 40 minutes
