The King's son is fancied but not as hot as the James Bond number above. Twas given to me by a tamino - a young'un from Tamnamore.

Bollix to that. Is he favourite? I was told he'd be well-priced.

Has anyone on this thread picked a winner yet, apart from those who told us about them AFTER the race.

When I heard it was 15/8 favourite I didn't bother putting a dime on it. How can a bookie's tip be a tip?

To be fair, the biggest sum I won on horses was from a tip on gaaboard (old) by Budwiser. In fact he scored two biggies in a row.

I remember Bud suggesting that we look at the lad with the speech impediment. I got on Stutter @ Leopardstown. He won @ 20/1. Two weeks later won @ 8/1. Those were the days.

Some of Bud's tips had a Carberry-Hourigan partnership. Recently I have been following Carberry-Meade and Goldfinger today was one such success.
