Never stayed on the Malone Road...

Bot on Wednesday might now be the big one but my time at the start of the decade saw Tuesday and Thursday nights be the busiest. The bus to Kellys of Portrush on Wednesday night was popular though, especially after exams were finished.

I know a lad who went up to that kellys spot on a wednesday nite and spent the whole nite in the carpark!

now you've got karma on a monday, and also if your too much of a mess to get into the bot on a wed. its a pity the shaws got rid of fat jim on a tuesday, it all went down from there.

Candyman

On a similar note...  about the barman that was mentioned earlier (on another thread i think) that gave free drink away after a dubious referring decision against Dromintee a few years ago. A well know harpsman who went to st marys was walkin home one nite through the holylands..... heard noises coming from a big pile of rubbish bags so went over to look!!
He kept hearing these mumbles and groans from beneath the rubbish so he moved them outta the way to investigate!! Low and behold there was the said barman in a complete state causeing all sorts of scenes and didnt know who he was never mind anything else!!!!
But he's a quiet lad and its a quiet area....... ;)

T O Hare

i have to agree with tram on this issue, these louts from lurgan, antrim and tyrone drink and cause countless scenes in this area, they also take thier antics to other places of interest such as sigerson games, they are a disgrace!!!!

ps helens is a great spot!! leave them out of it!!!

I recall Laverys having an offer on where you pay £10 at the door and drink as much as you want fro free, and Umgola went and got a big f**k off carry out to get blocked before he went down, think he lasted 1/2 hour in the place, until the bouncers kindly escorted him from the premises  ;)
