Four 1B teams in the QFs but don't see any of them progressing to the semis other than Cullyhanna. Madden will have too much for Maghery, Cruppen are improving the last few years but Cross will beat them pulling up. It will be a massive shock if Clann Éireann don't win their tie against Killeavy.

I have Clann Éireann a good bit out in front of the rest, then Madden/Cross, then Killeavy/Cullyhanna.

was up at the cruppen game and the turning point was the head stagger from the granemore keeper resulting in his sending off.
from then on cruppen were winning this game. UP until then Granemore were comfortable, 2 points up  and it could have gone either way
its bonus territory for cruppen but have to say they have been playing well all year so won`t be too afraid of Cross
that being said
cross by 6
cullyhanna by 5
clann Eireann by 6

Hard to see anything other than, Madden, Cross, Clann Eireann & Cullyhanna having comfortable wins. Killeavey are very talented and on the up but I doubt they'll have the mental toughness to get past CE.

Personally I don't think Killeavy have the balls to win a semi final let alone a championship but this match against CE is as big a test as they can get.

Think Stevie has fixed a lot of that kind of thing with them, but Clann Eireann will be a huge challenge.

Who have they got back now? I see they've Kevy McAlinden back from Australia, quality player.

I'm assuming this is alluding to the absence of Tomás Galvin for Keady?

I take it he means Tomas Galvin who was unavailable for Keady.

A good weekend of action in the Senior Championship. St Peter's will surely be kicking themselves, up by 7 points at one stage only to lose by 7 AET. A lack of know how and squad strength their undoing, perhaps a good tilt at intermediate next year along with a good batch of minors will see them make a prompt return to senior ranks.

Cullyhanna are (on paper anyway) the weakest team of the four left. Killeavy are a better team in my view - it's just a shame for them that they're all fart and no shite. Cullyhanna have that extra level of ignorance needed for championship football and stand a very good chance of making the final against a very ordinary Crossmaglen team, who I imagine probably would have preferred a crack at one of the other two instead of their nearest and dearest.

The two best teams in the county meet in the other semi final and CE will be warm favourites against a dogged Madden side that have wobbled once already in the championship. Based on what I've seen it will be a Cross/CE final but I wouldn't rule out either of the other two.

Took in the double header yesterday and watched the other 2 on Armagh TV, four decent games.  Peters will have nightmares about Friday night, but the inexperience was dripping of them down the home straight.  I say it a dozen times a year but complacency is a hoor, it is an escapable fact of club football, Cullyhanna thought they only had to turn up to beat Peters, but  Cullyhanna will surely improve for the semi final.  I still think Cross are all about the talent and not the team, it will get them over the line most of the time but probably not against really good teams, I'd also say their defence looked as poor as I have seen it in recent years, although I know Morgan and Cumiskey didn't start Saturday, not sure where my money would be in the south Armagh semi, a tentative vote to Cross.

Madden rode their luck a lot yesterday and will be very thankful to be sitting in the semi, Maghery will be gutted, they were denied a stonewall free at the end as well, but Falloon is Falloon.  I think Madden's main failing is (and has been for the past few years) their shooting, they've some good forwards too but it always seems to go to pot in the Athletic Grounds.  Hard to see them beating Clann Eireann, CE looked an Ulster winning side in the first half and then very beatable in the 2nd.  Killeavy very young and small looking in comparison – Killeavy always seem to be full of youth, do they ever field a team full of physical maturity??  Having said that Killeavy and Carrickcruppen both look to have bright Senior club futures.

I'd expect a Clann Eireann v Cross final at this stage, but wouldn't be surprised to see one or even both beaten.

The intermediate seems to be wide open at this stage. Sarsfields probably slight favourites against Grange in the semi final, but Grange are a good side. I'd fancy Shane's to beat St Paul's, although I'm not sure if Connaire Mackin will be back by then.

I'll go for a Grange v Shane's final.

APM will be favourites for junior but losing their best player during the league will definitely have brought them back to the pack somewhat. Middletown finished the league strong and had a good win in the quarter finals so they'll fancy their chances.
Clonmore and Corrinshego beat each other once apiece in the league. Clonmore will start as favourites but I've a feeling Corrinshego could beat them.

I'll go for the outsiders and tip Middletown v Corrinshego in the final.

Senior - Cross to do just enough v Cullyhanna. Clann Eireann likewise against Madden.

Sarsfields where abit underwhelming against a 14 man Keady missing their two best players. I would fancy Grange with their two point threat to win that one.

Shanes and St Pauls very much a 50/50 game Connaire Mackin availability could have a big say in who wins that one. St Pauls shouldn't need much motivation for that one having lost to Shanes in final a few years ago with a goal last play in a game they where 4/5 points the better side.

I would expect APM to win the junior taking out Ballyhegan in the quarter final was massive. If they are able to get Justin Kieran on the field can't see them being beat, they have a few other handy forwards regardless.

Cross and Clann Eireann to both come through in senior which would set up a great final.

Surely it would be madness for that lad to play any part this year, only done the achilles a few months ago..
