BBC are predicting a strong victory for Boris the blithering idiot.
They deserve everthing they voted for.

What as opposed to crooked Ken?
"When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"

i'm no fan of red ken, that's for sure. he won the original election as an independent so labour had no choice but to give him the labour tag to save embarassment.

I can't understand how any irishman could favour an anti working class, market driven tory over any socialist, however dubious his personal circumstances. i'm not sure it stands up to call red ken a crook though?

Yeah well Red Ken stood on me on day in London :(

Lets see in the pass month they have removed the 10 p tax rate
planning to add 2p to the price of fuel
increased road tax for a lot of families with older cars.

Marx/Lenin  must be well proud of these socialist. I'd rather the Torys over this brand of socialism
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

Using this calculator someone on £10k a year is £101 worse off on their take home pay over the year than last year, whereas someone on £80k is £297 better off. I appreciate that the person on £80k may drive a 4x4 and pay more road tax but it's hardly socialism from a labour party. You may be right, the tories would be better but I wouldn't be so sure.

A a number of models of  larger family cars will move up a tax band if what I'm hearing is correct. It's a  bit rich to hit people for a "green tax" 8 years after they got the car .Originally purchased the car maybe 8 years ago there was no talk of it at all.

Labour my arse.

New labour are far from socialist. certainly i could never give them my vote. however, if you think for one second that the tories would be better you either have a very short memory or are 18-21.

It's easy to look good in opposition. i wouldn't trust the bastards to run a pub.

The Blegard

Red Ken is the man who lobbied and got us new Eltham for GAA back in the days where we were public enemy no 1. He was  and is a good friend to the gaels no matter how crazy he might have become

Not saying the torys would be better. Just  saying that just saying if I had too vote for  one of the two, I rather vote for the wolf than the wolf in sheep's clothing .

If I was voting in the UK I'd vote lib dems

IRISH PEOPLE in London should support Ken

'The Irish have long memories and we have good cause to remember that Livingstone was almost a lone voice in tackling ignorance about Irish people, Irish culture and the politics of Ireland. He gave the Irish community a platform when he was at the GLC and helped promote and foster an understanding of Ireland especially in relation to the historic origins of the North of Ireland conflict.
Irish arts and culture thrive in London today and Ken Livingstone has undoubtedly played a significant role. The annual St Patrick's Day Festival brings joy, a sense of pride in our culture and   happiness to thousands and thousands of Irish people living in London today. The promise made by Livingstone to the Irish community when he became Mayor that he would give our community a chance to celebrate our National Day in Trafalgar Square was honoured beyond our expectations.'

I would vote for Boris, but only for this inspired moment versus Germany in a celebrity football match:
