Ennis - going out and the surrounding areas

Guys - a mate is in Ennis at the weekend with work but they are there from Friday - Monday, any ideas on good places to:

a) Sightsee
b) Watch sport i.e. the GAA national league final followed by the Munster game as well as the United Chelsea game
c) Eating out in Ennis
d) Anything else....

The Cliffs of Moher, breathtaking scenery and think new visitor centre is finally open now also and is only a short drive from Ennis.
