Kerry Mike

Just got this Munster GAA Alert.

=========================

The President of the GAA, Mr Nickey Brennan has extended his deepest sympathies and those of the Association to the family of Tipperary Under 21 and Senior footballer, Darrel Darcy who was killed yesterday in a car accident.

Darrel was a member of the Shannon Rovers club and represented his county at Minor, Under 21 and Senior levels. Last weekend he played in the Munster Under 21 final, when Tipperary were defeated by Kerry and lined out for the Senior side in their National Football League win over Antrim on Sunday.

Mr. Brennan said that Darrel was an exceptional sportsman, very committed to his club and county. He expressed his condolences on behalf of the Association to Darrel's family, friends, club and county team-mates at this very sad and difficult time.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
