Ok but non of them woud be as famus as the Kernans.

The Rackards of Wexford would be far far more famous than the Kernans.

The 3 Mortiomer brothers all played for Mayo, don't think they played County football @ the same time, but not sure.

Kenneth Mortiomer, Trevor Mortiomer & Conor Mortiomer.

The 3 Lowrys in Offaly in 1982, Seanie, Brendan and Mick.
The 3 Dooleys in the hurling in 1994, Joe, Johnny and Timmy.
I'd say Ritchie, Murt and Matt Connor probably played together as well.

That 1982 Offaly team had (off the top of my head)
The Fitzgerald Brothers, Mick and Pat
The Lowrys, Sean, Brendie and Mick
The Connors, Matt and Ritchie,
The O'Connors, Liam and Tomás,
The Darbys, Seamus and Stephen

One of the Lowerys played for Mayo, did he ever play against a brother while in the Mayo jersey, any league games perhaps do you know?

Don't think they played together at Senior IC level

Greg and Seán Maher played in the 1989 AI final, surely bulking up to 5 regular chumps in any other sibling estimation.

Wasn't Billy Dooley the fourth brother? I thought the 4 of them played on the same team together?

Sorry, I meant Billy of course. D'oh. What I was going to add was that I thought Timmy got a few run outs as well, but I'm not sure if he is a brother or a cousin.

Newbridge Exile

Back in the 50/60's  there would have been occasions when four of the Gribben brothers from Newbridge would have been playing for Derry , with three of then playing against Dublin in the 58 all Ireland-Hugh Frances, Owen and Roddy who was the player manager

Definitely not a brother and pretty sure he's not a cousin either.

Re the famous Kerry brotherly trios - the Spillanes and the O'Se's - have they any other brothers who werent good enough to play at that level, or was it just the 3 brothers in each case?

I know that the Ó Sés have another brother called Fergal who has played for and managed An Ghaeltacht.....not sure if he played county football however.....maybe the Kerry lads can enlighten us.
