Some latest scores in

Waterford IT 0-03 1-00  GMIT, Waterford,

NUI Galway 0-06 0-02 DIT, Dangan,

http://www.sportsnewsireland.com/?p=6002

UCC 1 - 6 LIT 3-14
CIT 0-8 UCD 0-10

UCC have an excellent team, (as do CIT) but Joe Canning..he's just a different class. Without him it would have been close but Canning was incredible.

INDIANA

Just informed that UCD beat CIT 10-8. Thats from a selector involved so its accurate. Great win for UCD 6 dublin lads starting.

CIT were missing a fair few of their lads for them which hurt them badly. The UCC was a horrible game, everyone but Canning looked like they would have rathered been anywhere else. They really were as bad as the weather at times.

CIt were missing Naughton and Fennelly. UCD didn't start Rory or Ross OR Carroll. So both sides were missing lads. Poor weather conditions turned into a dogfight by all accounts.

Joe Canning bagged 3-8 as Limerick IT shocked reigning Ulster Bank Fitzgibbon Cup champions UCC, while there were Round 1 wins also for UCD, UL, WIT and NUI Galway.

When I heard that score earlier, I right away mentally pictured Reillers posting here uncharacteristically being an ungracious loser where a Cork team is concerned.

I login and by lord there it is!

Oh grow up, CIT were missing a few players, that's all I said, I also mentioned seeing as you failed to see that I said that Canning was incredible. But typical you, just totally selective. Never mind what anyone has said, it doesn't matter when it comes to you.

Christy Ring, JBM and Gerald ;D

Thats a good win for UCD anyway. They have a very decent side this year but with LIT and Canning its probably all academic.

Fitzgibbon Cup Roundup 10th February

Joe Canning once again proved to be a shining light for Limerick IT in their win over WIT, while there were wins for UCC and St Pat's-Mater Dei in today's Ulster Bank Fitzgibbon Cup Round 2 action.

Elsewhere DIT staged a magnificent second half comeback.........
