Here's a question, my mate at home was born on Feb.29th. 1968.  When does he celebrate his birthday (officially) during the other three years?

Might be sending out an engagement letter in work - does that count?  Much more lucrative than the traditional engagement (granted not for me).

There's a guy sitting beside me who is hiding from his girlfriend (who also works with us).

it shouldnt take you all weekend to drink "two beers" :D

Goats Do Shave

Did you know this Friday is a leap-year day (29th Feb) and as such most of you will be working for free!!  Yes, its true...  Check out Freeday Friday on google  http://www.freedayfriday.com    Basically your wages are usually (check your contract) paid over a 365-day year, however with this year being 366, and the extra one a work day - it means a day working for nothing!!  I'd strongly urge you all to harass and pursue the idea of either getting the day off or getting paid...many companies across the UK and Ireland have already bowed to the pressure and done one of the above - even a few banks have waived interest payment on mortgages for that 1 day!

Good luck, don't be a mug and let it lie!! .
