I mean Drumraney is hardly even what you would call a townland, such is it's lack of a shop or even a church as far as I recall. For them it was all about a bit of pride.

Has a church on top of the hill, very picturesque.

The one on the right hand side, on the way to Athlone? You be right!

What happened Desmonds as a club ?

I know these things can run in cycles but for a club that won the all ireland club in 85 http://castleislanddesmonds.kerry.gaa.ie/allirelandseniorchamps85.html and lost another final to Burren in 86 to be involved in something like Celebrity Bainnisteor seems like an almighty fall.

Does Mick Galway have all the local talent playing rugby ?

More disappointment for Louth football today.

First time I ever watched this there tonight.  Christ what a load of shite.  It's so contrived and must be 95% scripted including the glorified friendly game. That's an hour i'm never getting back, thanks rte.  Why can they not just show gaa for what it is without a pile of clueless celebrities in it, by running a small tournament with prize money for the winning club in some sort of documentary type programme?

Jinxy

God that Blaithnaid one would wreck your head.
If you were any use you'd be playing.

Jinxy

Maybe its just me but it's not bad this week.
Certainly beats listening to that shrill headcase last week anyway.

Ah, com on now Jinxy, you shouldn't talk about Pat Spliiane that way.

Farrandeelin

First time I watched it was last night, because my cousin was involved in playing. What a load of shite and I don't care if he's on again, not watching it.

A fella playing for Irvinestown in the programme last week collided with a post at the side of the pitch during the match.
Turns out he needed over 100 stiches in the wound. Couldn't believe that they didn't even mention it in the programme.
