I can't see them winning it myself but on all known form how can you put Meath at 16/1 and them at 40/1?

Well, what happened the last time Monaghan played Meath?

I don't think Meath will win the All-Ireland next year either, but i'd say they have a much better chance than Monaghan based on what I saw this year. Monaghan will be making a huge push to win Ulster, because this is within their grasp. Meath will be trying something similar in Leinster. But this year, Meath beat Tyrone and came close to Dublin over two games, as well as disposing of Galway fairly comfortably. Monaghan beat Down, Derry (absolutely dismal Derry performance) and a poor Donegal.
