Ah Christ.. I hope you haven't the mortgage on it, or is it more a case of the football season ending.. and boredom.

I read there at the weekend that Preston have denied that Reading asked for permission to talk to them about Irvine. At least there is some speculation about it. The thing that negates the enthusiasm for this, is that I heard this tip on Saturday. If I had about it, then you can guarantee others have. Yet the odds are still at 12.

I know Brendan quite well, being from the same village & had a few pints with him last weekend in my local when he was back home  attending a family function.  Obviously talk of the reading job was mentioned......and that's as far as I can go.......

All I will say is contact HAS been made with Watford, but 4/6 is an extremly foolish price as things stand
