The Sopranos season 3 episode 11 Pine Barrens, directed by Steve Buscemi is an absolute classic.  Paulie and Chris take on a russian who turns out to be ex russian army special services.

Pine Barrens is on Sky Atlantic in a couple of minutes, best Sopranos episode IMO.

Chrissy's intervention is quality as well when they all kick the shit out of him!

Suppose so. Left it as if you thought he'd turn up later in that series or in a future series but he never did as far as i can remember. Brilliant episode, Paulie is one of the best characters ever imo
