The wife was talking to the GP at the start of the week and she told her the vaccines are constructed 6 months in advance and this new strain wasn't on their radar so it has a bit of a gap in it.

Seems to be kids more  affected. Sickness, diarrhoea as well as coughs.

Do flu viruses work Similar to  these superbugs?  Repeated use of antibiotics  causing  bugs resistant  to  it? Flu jabs ,(supposedly) suppressing flu viruses , makes flu viruses more resistant to the vaccines , causing super flus?  No?

It does seem  worse this year.

Flu changes all the time anyway. The most successful viruses are those that are very infectious, if you kill people than you reduce transmission. Flu versions that are not very infectious die out and are replaced by more infectious ones.
