A terrible tragedy first and foremost, but this Tusla unit was run by a private company abd seems to be just in a regular apartment block.

Awful news. RIP.

Ukranians on the whole are decent people from a civilised country displaced by war, Somalians wouldn't have the best track record when it comes to crime in other countries...

gallsman

Wow, didn't even bother to try to hide it.

Now, I wonder what the Somalis would know about war?

Milltown Row2

Been a civil war since 1991, probably before Armagh18 was born, it's a pretty brutal civil war too, god knows what atrocities have went on but not the best media war to cover
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Not in election manifesto, zero public consultation, petition just ignored. Hahaha

The plebs will continue to agonise who they're gonna vote for next time.

I only have a work phone which my company own, I am sure as it can be recalled at anytime, it would be highly unsecure and irresponsible to put a digital id on it.

Ukraine was a kip pre-2014. Corruption, gangsterism, criminality as well as being one of the poorest countries Europe.

Kip is a bit strong, people were better educated than many places and there was decent infrastructure. But there is no doubt that the economy had not moved on from the early 90s owing to corruption. Ukraine got caught between two stools, it ended up independent but with considerable continued malign interference from Russia. Places like Poland or Lithuania could aspire to join the EU, which required getting organised, and Poland in particular had an independent approach from the Solidarność period. Then when they did get a plan to start the process for joining the EU, which was a threat to the corruption, Putin told Yanukovych not to sign it and seized Crimea and much of the Donbas. While corruption is hard to eradicate, the present changes have sent Ukraine in a better direction if they can stop Russia invading it.

The use of the word 'kip' strongly suggests that general_lee has never set foot in the place, pre-2014 or otherwise.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/10/20/penguin-bars-no-longer-classed-as-chocolate/
Penguin and Club bars are no longer classed as chocolate because they contain so little cocoa.
The British biscuits are now labelled "chocolate flavoured" after cost-cutting altered their listed ingredients.
Cocoa prices have soared as a result of poor harvests in West Africa, resulting in a change to the ingredients and labelling.
McVities has altered the slogan for Club biscuits from "if you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit, join our Club", to "if you like a lot of biscuit in your break, join our Club

Lodged a complaint with Wagon Wheels a while ago because the chocolate looked like runny thin water. Turns out it was essentially just that.

Got few vouchers. Every excuse under sun used by these companies for the bottom line, every time.

Cadburys have been fooling us for years - they can't call it a chocolate bar as it does not have enough Cocoa so they call it Dairy Milk.

Palm oil is sometimes used in chocolate to improve its texture, shelf life, and stability, especially in products like compound chocolate and fillings, as it is a cheaper alternative to cocoa butter.

Jeffrey Donaldson and the wife kicking the can down the road for another while due to her being "unwell".

Is this just allowed to go on forever ? Was she unwell before they were arrested ?
