Why should he feel any guilt for taking the £50K? Maybe his motives were more to do with stopping other kids having to go through this "hazing" process!

Why are there not more questions being asked of Methody and their role in this and I know they accepted liability for failures in supervising this, but what about the culture within the school that normalised this type of behaviour.

Lads who believe this type of behaviour is OK go on to behave like Paddy Jackson and the lad Anderson and his mates in Regent house.

I'd hate to think McCrory cup panels are allowed to behave in a similar manner.

Come on Johnny you're better than that. Now do the same for the GAA players accused of all manner of things over the years. Or soccer or UFC. Scumbags involved in any sport would be scumbags regardless.

Not sure I have ever seen a sentence as long as the person in England guilty of the Southport murders, outside of a whole life order obviously.

His photo, which media outlets are using, screams 'crazy guy' at me anyway.

Deserves every day of it the bastard.

I read earlier in the week that they couldn't give him life as he was under 18 at the time of the attack.

Was thinking the same. Usually low enough sentences in England irrelevant of the crime, his seemed more an American kind of number.

Fingers crossed. He needs one behind the ear rather than 52 years B&B at the taxpayers expense.

What the hell was his father at, not reporting him having a crossbow, knifes etc. Mad. Gonna go to a school a few weeks before.  He should be seeing time too.
