Each pouched rat costs $7,000-$8,000 to train for existing operations such as landmine and TB detection, a fraction of the price of electronic inspection technologies such as X-rays and CT scanners, the researchers said. The "negative image of rats as dirty animals" belies that they are disciplined and "very clean, intelligent and likeable", said Kate Webb, another study co-author and an assistant professor at Duke University. "When our rats are at work, they are focused on the job," Webb said.

Still though it is a bit worrying. If people think there is a parade because of something on social media but don't notice that Dublin Bus and the Luas haven't heard of it then you have to wonder about their ability to process information. No wonder we have Brexit and Trump getting elected if people fail to actually think!

Look-Up!

It'd actually be a great thing to do for next year, a real parade that is. Could turn into a real tourist puller in years to come if done properly.

Jell 0 Biafra

Nah, they should have the fake parade every year. Totally unique.

A parade of spirits, without corporeal appearance, through which the Luas can run.
