Hardly DCU is on the proper North side of the city unlike that south side kip UCD
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

I reckon Saffron Sam2 has circled (with a red pen) at least 10 words (or sentences) in Eats, Shoots and Leaves, so far.

Didn't get a copy of said book - had to make do with "Princes Of Pigskin" instead, hence my absence from the board for the last few days.  That and problems with the wireless Internet.

Have never even seen a copy of "Eats, Shoots and Leaves".  It always reminds me of former saffron great, Niall 'Panda' Lynn's favourite (some would say only) chat-up line.

It does but I didn't want to stick it in his bake. I was too close to get a picture, if that makes sense.

Wouldn't have stopped me - I've always wondered what he looks like.

Princes Of Pigskin - definitely worth reading and a bargain at 1.5 time the price of "The Gambler".
Had to give her exact instructions to the spot in Waterstones where the book was on display. Just to be sure I got it.
