I enjoyed The Way Back, but as mentioned it lacked a storyline really. Monsters was very good. The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was excellent, can't wait to see the other two. Hurt Locker was very good, whereas Jarhead was dung

Got the Hurt Locker cheap in HMV...anyone seen it?

I thought it was poor! Boring IMO!
wouldn't say that, but it was way overrated imo.

Saw these this week.

Paranormal Activity 2 - Poor. A lot worse than the first one.

Green Zone - Shit, stupid, unoriginal.

Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
- Shite book, alright movie.

Thor
- Decent comic book stuff. Nice mix of FX, humour and general bullshittery to keep you entertained.

Monsters - Alright, bit silly in parts.

I need to start watching better movies.

Hanna was very good in parts I thought. Interrupted by an ugly British teenage girl and her family but I suppose they had to take time out to develop the character of the young Hanna.

8 out of 10.

Dinny Breen

Hannah was heading for an 8 for me as well but the ending wasn't great so I leave it at 7. Cate Blanchett was mis-cast as well imho.

Can't be that good, if you're on the board during it.

Recorded a film called Catfish that was on More4 last week and got round to watching it over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It's hard to explain what it's about so I'm going to steal this from IMDB instead of having a go myself:

In late 2007, filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost sensed a story unfolding as they began to film the life of Ariel's brother, Nev. They had no idea that their project would lead to the most exhilarating and unsettling months of their lives. A reality thriller that is a shocking product of our times, Catfish is a riveting story of love, deception and grace within a labyrinth of online intrigue. Written by Universal Pictures

Filmmakers Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost document a story involving Ariel's brother, Nev, a 24-year-old New York-based photographer, and Abby, from rural Michigan who contacts Nev via Facebook, asking for permission to make a painting from one of his photographs. Written by IMDb Editors

There is an original French version as well which is also worth a look.
