Watched Nuremberg. Wow what a movie. Stacked cast and great acting. Tough watch at times.

As has been said the acting is phenomenal but there's just something powerful about it. It'll be hit or miss for a few here but I really enjoyed it and can see why Buckley is favourite for the Oscar she deserves it!

Saw Housemaid. Way too long but ok. Sweeney shows plenty of skin to make up for her ropey acting. Seyfried is v good, at times more like a comedy than anything. Shame the great Liz Perkins got so little to do, they had loads of runtime.

Orior

Steve Martin destroyed Inspector Clouseau in the remake of the Pink Panther.

Now Liam Neeson has destroyed Frank Drebin's son in the remake of The Naked Gun.

Puree unadulterated pish.

Naked gun was not a remake

Watched "song sung blue" last night. I thought it was going to be a Neil Diamond biopic. Instead it's a true story about a ND tribute act. It stars Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson. Both are very good, with Hudson being award worthy. It's well worth a watch, especially if you are a Neil Diamond fan. Be ready to sing along to Sweet Caroline bom bom bom.
Never underestimate the power of complaining

Said to the wife about it!

Honestly the older she gets the worse she is for tv/films, the attention span of a goldfish

Probably watch it when someone else's recommends it from her work lol!

I know that feeling  ;D

Also the amount of things I say I'd like to watch, and herself would say "Yeah, I'll watch that but not right now". Then that film or show sits in limbo

I enjoyed it. Was a load of bollocks and was essentially a fancy made-for-TV number you'd see on Channel 5 but it was entertaining. Some parts more than others  :o

gallsman

Channel 5 of a Friday night, in days of yore?

DaleCooper

Arcadian with Nicholas Cage. Shot in Wicklow/Dublin. post apocalyse world where weird monsters attack their farm each night like clockwork.

Very creepy and strange monsters, one scene is v memorable.

Easy enough craic for a Sunday night
