Last night I watched about 20 mins of a Nic Cage film called Drive Angry. It was a :o

Thought about it but watch some crap about the White being taken over!!! Never get those 2 hours back
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Apparently so

Watched some English pish called Tower Block

Absolutely woeful but still enjoyed it for some reason. I wouldn't say naw to the wee blonde thing in it. Lovely

All of a Sludden

Those of us of a certain vintage will remember Magnum Force, with Clint Eastwood as Harry Callahan. I remember paying 10p in to the youth club to watch it. It's on RTE1 tonight @ 00:25.
I'm gonna show you as gently as I can how much you don't know.

I have just watched "out of the furnace"

The cast of Christian Bale, Woody Harlleson, Forrest Whittaker, Willam Dafoe, Casey Afflek & Tom Bower should entice anyone into watching this movie.

There are strong performances all round and in particular from Woody Harlleson.

(Spoiler) The ending lifts this film above the normal Hollywood production. If I have to give it a score 8.5 out of 10.

Never underestimate the power of complaining

Capt Pat

22 Jump Street is well worth watching. It is very funny in parts.

Edge of tomorrow a sci fi with Tom Cruise is  good entertainment.

I would give them both 8 out of 10.

J OGorman

Hannah - good start but kinda petered out a wee bit 6/10
Monuments Men - really enjoyable show with a quare cast 7.5/10
Searching for Sugarman - wow. Excellent show 9/10

Good show.  Watched Old Boy and Jack Ryan at the weekend.  Old Boy was ok, Jack Ryan was very good.

Watched the summit there on rte, great show/documentary
Excuse me for talking while you're trying to interrupt me

Jack Ryan was shite. Franchise should have been left buried.

Edge of Tomorrow was very enjoyable, if a bit contrived at the end. Tom Cruise needs to stop making apocalyptic alien movies though.

Saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes too and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.

Watched "Fear and Loathing in Las Vagas".

Great acting, but no plot nor story. A truely bizarre film.

Just watching Happy Gilmore on television, and one of the background tunes was Rock n' Roll by Gary Glitter. Now what was he famous for?

Happy Gilmore was released in 1996... Glitter was caught in 1997!

What are you supposed to do in that case? In fairness it's a good song but are we not supposed to like the song because he's a paedo?

On another note this thread has been very quiet this last while. Can we put that down to the amount of dross out in the cinema these days? The last 2 films I've watched were "A Million Ways to Die in the West" and "Bad Neighbours"... horrible films!

The last two I watched were Sleepless in Seattle and Colombiana.  Need for Speed is next.
