That's commercial reality. You can't stream highlights until after the highlights show. You can't stream head to head with live games.
Thats the problem with the GAA. Meant to be an amateur sport. Rules like that shouldnt exist.
Then no tv station will show highlights...

Or oin general why can't RTE add a digital sports channel and roll the games in full all week.

I don't know how it is now, but in the past RTÉ were restricted from having more channels as Virgin said it took up too much advertising revenue.

RTE have cameras at nearly every game.  How about dubbing the local radio commentary and showing a few of those games during the week?  Would be entertaining.

What does this mean in reality?
That county boards can't stream a specific game on their own platform when that same game is on rte/tg4?
But whilst badly worded, I hope it doesn't mean that no games can be streamed at the same time as tg4/rte live broadcasts?  Can't mean that, so just clarifying to myself that it doesn't???
I presume this is to allow tg4/rte the pick of games again, which is something that hasn't been the case the last few years as county boards (Kerry in particular) haven't allowed tg4/rte to stream their games?

And if that's the case, I'm all for it
