G'wan with yez, everyone in Kerry knows they are going to win handy, the animals will wait to travel for for the semi against Dublin, the only question in the Kerry Monaghan is whether it will rain.   ::)

Yerra we wish it was that easy but life would be boring if it was too predictable. This time last year I was very worrried about a certain Armagh game, but we passed that test well.

For 1/4 finals, Kerry have played 6, won 6.
Who's got the next best record? and the worst?
How about the most illustrious absentees? Kildare, Down, Offaly or Cavan I suppose.

Laois's record would surely be the worst?
Anyway, long story short... is a phrase whose origins are complicated and rambling.

The same way as Derry and Donegal did, and Tyrone, who scraped through.

Sure most people in Kerry wouldn't be sure which of Fermanagh or Monaghan was in the 6 counties. Teams like this don't cause quarter final upsets or beat reigning AI champions. Sure you couldn't compare a place known for its miserable drumlins with the majestic peaks of Kerry. No wonder they put it on with the hurling so that someone would go.  ;)

I'm guessing here but Mayo must be there or thereabouts.

Fermanagh also made the quarters in 2003. where we got the mother and father of all hammerings by a Cormac McAnallen inspired Tyrone. He never gave Steven Maguire a touch all day
