Roscommon certainly need to be ready for an ambush and be ready for a Tyrone team to use every trick and dark arts possible to get themselves over the line.

Unfortunately we don't have any expertise in the dark art any more.

Think this will be a belter of a game. Can Roscommon produce another statement win to say we're really one of the big boys now? Tyrone with absolutely everything to prove as well. Safe to say MOR's tenure as manager hasn't caught fire yet.

twohands!!!

Very much a toss-up game for me with a huge amount depending on what sort of Roscommon turn up and what sort of Tyrone turn-up on the day. I don't think any result in this would really surprise me - both teams have the capacity to turn in a blistering performance and shoot the lights out yet both have the ability to turn in a flat performance if they have an off-day.

The break will suit an out of sorts Tyrone but need to hang in there for first half til cobwebs get blown out.

There is a decent Tyrone crowd going from my contacts, a lot of people think they could finally bring it all together having not been too far off Armagh who are now deserving Champions of Ulster and a real contender for Sam.

The Tyrone support against Armagh was very poor, given the good effort the team made. Perhaps more will now get involved.

Who would've known the direct correlation between a team making a good effort on the day and the amount of tickets sold to tyrone before that actual day...but maybe more fans will travel the 3 hours to Roscommon based on that good effort this weekend

Darragh Cavanan remains out while the very experienced Mattie Donnelly,Kieran McGeary return to the starting team.

Roscommon unchanged from the Connacht final

Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Tyrone are a far better team than the league showed and should and could have beaten Armagh so take from that what you want. The rossies at home are a great side and have some v good ballers, I expect the rossies to win this one but at the same time won't be one bit shocked if Tyrone were to sneak it. I know that's sitting on the fence a bit but it's as simple as Tyrone are better than they're getting credit for and Roscommon are a great team in the Hyde, If Roscommon can gather a bit of momentum and rack up enough scores in that period which they seem to be doing then Tyrone may struggle to peg them back.
Roscommon 2-23 Tyrone 2-17

Tyrone getting a lot of credit for the performance v Armagh 6 weeks ago in an USFC Prelim, I dunno if that's something I'd be hanging my hat on tbh. Roscommon have got a proper strong form line. Not a very strong looking Tyrone team either, fancy Roscommon now after seeing the lineups.

I'd be of the same opinion. Tyrone lost to a 14 man Armagh team in extra time. In the modern game with the 3 up that's a pretty big failure.

Any type of result wouldn't be a surprise on Sunday. If we are to salvage anything from this year I feel we need to win this one. Tyrone by 3 (said with absolutely zero confidence or anything to back that up with).
