To repeat, What happened to Donegal against Down becomes a bigger mystery now.

Combination of Donegal not being at the races, missing Lanagan, Down playing out of their skin, possible slight complacency from Donegal plus Down having been laser focused on that game for months and months and coming up with a game plan to beat them.

Its a pity its not straight kmockout and put us out of our misery.offaly may have got relegated but they played at a higher level all year than Down and it showed.  But the chamces Down missed were criminal Offaly.missed a good few also.

Thanks my Roscommon friend. I didnt travel as it was just a wee bit too far so tuned into Shannonside to realise that Willie Hegarty was on the mic. That didnt bode well!!

But a great win far away from home. Clare are in the doldrums but you would still have fancied them here.

Await on Monday the draw. Probably will get Down in Newry.........fancy a trip to London myself!!

Still conceding poor goals but we are improving .
