History books

Hi all,

First time poster here.

I'm a newbie not only here but to Football too having only been following the sport for a couple of seasons.

I was just wondering what books would be recommended reading on the history of the sport and on the GAA's impact on Irish culture too?


Also, at the risk of being hated after just 1 post, are there any recommended books about the history of the Dublin Football team?

It is not a book and I have not watched it but there is a 1 hour documentary on BBC iplayer Hell For Leather, The Story of Gaelic Football which might be relevant.
