I'd not necessarily disagree with that, but sometimes I'd be careful for what you wish for as I'm sure the likes of Limerick and Clare who have the size and physicality to work with Cork would maybe enjoy a bit more leeway from referees and make a Cork team with questions over their hardness pay for it.

That's not condoning Mark Colemans downward strike to the Galway lads helmet, not within an asses roar of a ball.

That's a red all day long.

We're gone like soccer, aren't we? Black cards, red cards, yellow cards, technical areas. We are following that game. Look, that is the fellas above trying to cleanse hurling. That is what they are trying to do if you want to be fair about it.
"They don't want any dust-up, they don't want any bit of blood spilt, they don't want a hurley broke, they want to make it a nice game for my little Johnny at home. Genuine hurling people don't want that. They want a good, hard physical game.

"No one is hurt when it is played that way. There wasn't a dirty stroke pulled outside there tonight. No one got hurt. That is higher above; they are trying to take the manliness out of the game, in my opinion."

Captain Scarlet

Ah yes the manliness of hitting a lad's helmet from behind - not one dirty stroke in that game mind...
Or the manliness of the constant belts on the hands of lads with the sliotar in hand.

The game now has much less 50/ 50 contests and the short passes reduce the fair hits that we all want to see. But the sneaky hits keep coming.
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Milltown Row2

Hopefully a cracker tonight

Wexford pulled away but Carlow weee pretty competitive for most of that game

Decent game with plenty of intenity for early February.

I think Cork will win the All-Ireland. Good panel now with pace. Plus Ben O'Connor will bring the fire for sure. I think he's the missing link for them. They have everything else. Munster will be great again this year.

As an aside, I think Clare and Dublin will get promoted. I don't think Wexford are good enough. Don't have enough quality. Even though Chin was baack today and he'll make a difference, I just don't think they have enough quality forwards.

Is it?

I don't understand teams standing off Cork as they thrive on space and movement.

Get in their faces and go at them and I think they will falter.

This guy is a wum

Cork won a home game in the league. That's it.

Tipp showed plenty of ability fitness and intent, missed a few handy ones and could have been closer

I'm not sure on the short short play from Cork but that could sharpen up come the summer

Duine Inteacht Eile

Cork v Tipp - Penalty & Black card

I'm not sure whether it's the referee decision or the rule I disagree with but that's a very harsh punishment for what the corner back did IMO.

Coming to football at club level this year.

Same happened last minute in Limerick game, it's down to the ref.

Limerick lads will get abuse for interviews in front of ad board now

The treaty county sure!
