Quote from: playwiththewind1st on January 25, 2026, 04:09:26 PMLabour's idea of what 'governing' actually entails is so appalling that they are starting to make the cretins at Stormont look good.

Labour might be bad but they are not that bad, the folks on the hill are in a league of their own.

Maybe, but  only half the hill are genocide  supporters

Braverman is away to reform. Probably a big plus for starmer.

Reform possibly too tame for her.

Why do people on benefits not pay rates? Why have they even got a house to live in? Why are they allowed into hospitals when they're sick? Why have the got cars? Why have they money to buy food? They should have nothing. Working peoples taxes pay to keep them alive. Why not let them die of starvation or illness?

If you are looking that head to a country that does that..
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Starmer on the ropes. Cant shake the appearance of being taken for a fool by Mandelson.

Imagine him being paid off too...

Mandelson has probably forgotten all about that FCO pay-off, just like he conveniently forgot all about the 3 bank transfers from Epstein.

Another Chief of Staff gone, apparently.
If in doubt, always shaft the punter you brought in to do your bidding.

It's the last card Starmer can play atm. A lot of the broadsheet chatter was that he could get the chop after the Local elections in May anyway, getting increasingly hard to see him make it that far now, but Wes Streeting would likely want him to take that hit before swooping in. If the likes of Rayner throws her hat in the ring it'll be a good old fashioned left v right fist fight for the leadership.

Labour are awful but the future of UK politics looks absolutely grim, they're all advertisements for emigrating somewhere else.

Labour Peer Lord Glasman reporting back from DC inauguration.

"The brutal truth is that the vast majority of people I met, and I met many during the last week, consider our Labour Government to be a front organisation for paedophiles and Pakistani rape gangs. They consider our position on the Chagos Islands an example of progressive idiocy and our appointment of Peter Mandelson an unnecessary provocation. Several people showed me a photograph of him blowing out the birthday candles with Jeffrey Epstein.
