When I started getting Jerseys around 1991/92 Jerseys were £17.50,soccer Tops probably £30 at the time. Think I had 20 plus, was Begleys [In Dungannon) best customer. He had stuff nobody else had. So i understand teenagers looking to get a Jersey. Prices these days are ridiculous.

Must be fair profit on each top O'Neills produce too, with their current prices.

Would you prefer all their staff, North and South to be on a lower wage to make it cheaper? I honestly can't see them getting a mortage, looking after kids etc in the current climate on an Asian wage. Or are the top brace creaming it in?

No idea but I know they are too expensive for the quality of the product, if you are buying for a couple of weans

The soccer clubs change kit too often. At least the County gear is every 2 years. Although oneills do take the piss with new training gear every year. And alot of the time they sell gear the teams never wear.  Down had an official blue away jersey for last 2 years , they never wore it once. Down either wear red or black or yellow/gold on odd occasion. Blue is an onleills idea.

Breakdown of jersey costs from 2023 on a United jersey costing 80 quid. That jersey is likely to be closer to £100 this year with a players name on the back.
