has now changed to

Cleveland Steamers 115.51 - 103.40 O'Neill's Chargers

Squeaky bum.

How'd that happen? Lets go Steamers!

heganboy

there were a couple of changes yahoo is quick to put them up but slow to retract, eg the ravens defense yesterday scored a TD which was ruled down by contact - took yahoo seconds to put the score up but nearly 24hours to take it down again...
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

Countdown to Wembley well and truly on now. Anyone else flying out of Shannon on Saturday morning?

Lone Shark

Nah, Dublin on Sunday.

Any particular place in mind for Saturday night yet? I'm not that well versed in central London socialising, but the Porter House in Covent Garden could be the job. Seems to be close to most of us.

Balboa

Flying out of Belfast International (even though its not in Belfast) on Friday.......

AZOffaly

Porter House sounds good to me :D

More importantly what about boose for Sunday?

What is the best TUBE station for Wembley, as there are a few of them. Is there a booser round there that anyone has in mind, given that we will be going out to collect our tickets in any case?

AZOffaly

I think Wembley Park Station is the one that you walk up Wembley Way. (If I recall correctly from the old Wembley).

I know nothing about boozers in the area. On the NFLUK forum they are talking about the 'Green Man'?

Gabriel_Hurl

How did everyone get on at Wembley? The match was brutal but it was a good experience, really subdued atmosphere. Big novelty factor for quite a few ones as far as i could see. The area around the stadium is some shithole alright, when i went out for a slash during the game there were people out at the bars drinking nat watching the match on TV, why would you pay £80 for a ticket to do that?

We had a great time. I thought the game was alright giving the conditions. I think the jet-lag caught up with them a bit. So many dropped passes. Giants could have won by a few more. Still was praying for the Phins to get the on-side kick at the end. thats said the Dolphins TD was class and was surprised to see Manning run the ball in for the TD. Im just hoping they do it again next year and more ofthen I'd go again tonight if there was a game. Another question, does Wembley not have a closing roof? I thought it did. We had great seats and all.
