Quote from: seafoid on December 14, 2025, 05:55:33 PMVery exciting end to the camogie

Brilliant. Referee didn't give much to Athenry last few mins

Some finish there in the camogie.

One of Joe Rabbitte's daughters played with the ACL full gone.

I can only image the guts to play a game with that gone.

St Finbars camogs failed to close the game out, just like their footballers, but at least they get another go in January.
Their two corner forwards had serious pace.

she was very good indeed.

St Finbarrs went 6 points up and didn't score again. It was a great comeback by Athenry.

Therese Maher Donohue still going strong, player of the match award at 44 years old.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Sunday 4 January

FFS!.
Can we ever get a real neutral venue?
Probably an Ulster Ref too.

Also no one will be able to do the FBD game and the Bridgets game.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

gallsman

All those passionate Scotstown fans in Cavan will be out to create a hostile atmosphere for the Rossies.

Absolutely f**king daft argument every single year.

But the venue is neutral ? I never heard of a rule where it says it has to be half way ?

Rossfan

Its a fixture not a rule.
Ulster team v Connacht team should mean a Leinster venue with a Leinster or Munster Ref.

Play the game like Dermot Earley.

I agree. Cavan is the neighbouring county to Monaghan with the same radio station

That's what you think but that has never been the way. Any team that gets to a All-Ireland Semi Final should be happy about it and not whinging about venues.

what a juvenile perspective. Any ground that is not on within the boundary of the two counties involved is neutral ffs. Trying to get a balance of distance for both teams is a different point. The ref, I know if I was from Scotstown I wouldn't want McQuillian who is from Ulster.

It's 45 km for Scotstown and 85km for Brigids.
