The big news was that Aaron Kernan wasn't.
Glad to hear it.

Kernan is down in Sligo with McEntee so he's probably busy..

Quote from: Norm-Peterson on January 09, 2025, 11:05:35 PMI see that assault was on one of the players girlfriends. Are these wags getting free trips abroad too? Another reason why I won't be giving any more money to the GAA. The thought of paying players holidays is bad enough but the girlfriends? Even if you just give money to your local club you are probably still funding holidays.
Alleged assault.  The clubs were asked to part with £2k to assist with funding the holiday which thought was poor form from the Co Board.

Nothing happened then?

We don't know of course. But because something happened does not mean that it was not consensual at the time, even if it seemed unwise the following day.

We don't know...

And that's where it should end? Not sure what the rest of your post means

Poorly thought out anyway

What is poorly thought out? Something happened, one person there says it was assault, one person says that it was consensual.

Haven't been keeping tabs of this story really but is that the position of both parties?
One alleging sexual assault with the other saying it was consensual?

Interesting that he's not denying something happened, sounds like a dirty action to take with one of your team mates partners whether she was willing or not.

Just think the last bit was not needed. Should have ended after the first sentence

Yeah messy situation all round. Like most things there'll be one persons version, the other persons version and then the truth.

The point is that the accused party's supposed version, even if the truth, paints him as a horrible **** who shouldn't be on the panel.

You've heard his version then?

And someone should be off the panel for being a horrible ****?

I know you're not great at comprehension, or anything else really, but I figured even you would know the meaning of the word "supposed". It appears my expectations were set too high again, despite the fact you'd actually acknowledged the allegation of sexual assault in your previous post.

Tell me, in your view, if the alleged act was indeed consensual, at what point in the hierarchy of Armagh football does it make you a horrible enough **** to acceptably be put off the panel? I mean, could you ride Geezer's wife if she was up for it and still have dickheads like you on the internet coming out to try and explain it away?

Rian is back, not the fella accused of the incident in Miami? Unless you have heard different than me?

Taking a break. Be back for the proper stuff in the summer.

Orior

I thought Rian did something similar last year too.
