Rian O'Neill off the Armagh panel?

The big news was that Aaron Kernan wasn't.

I see that assault was on one of the players girlfriends. Are these wags getting free trips abroad too? Another reason why I won't be giving any more money to the GAA. The thought of paying players holidays is bad enough but the girlfriends? Even if you just give money to your local club you are probably still funding holidays.

Alleged assault.  The clubs were asked to part with £2k to assist with funding the holiday which thought was poor form from the Co Board.

Nothing happened then?

We don't know of course. But because something happened does not mean that it was not consensual at the time, even if it seemed unwise the following day.

What is poorly thought out? Something happened, one person there says it was assault, one person says that it was consensual.

Interesting that he's not denying something happened, sounds like a dirty action to take with one of your team mates partners whether she was willing or not.

Yeah messy situation all round. Like most things there'll be one persons version, the other persons version and then the truth.

Tell me, in your view, if the alleged act was indeed consensual, at what point in the hierarchy of Armagh football does it make you a horrible enough **** to acceptably be put off the panel?
