I see that assault was on one of the players girlfriends. Are these wags getting free trips abroad too? Another reason why I won't be giving any more money to the GAA. The thought of paying players holidays is bad enough but the girlfriends? Even if you just give money to your local club you are probably still funding holidays.

What is poorly thought out? Something happened, one person there says it was assault, one person says that it was consensual.

Obviously it's alleged. None of us were there so don't know what happened. And nothing has been proven either way in court so I doubt we can say definitively say an assault happened.

I don't know I wasn't there and I would be 99% sure you weren't either.An allegation was made and is going through investigations at the moment, so until it is proven or otherwise it is an alleged assault.
