Was far from over. Pearses 1-9 to 0-11 in front with two minutes left.

Coolera/Strandhill 0-12 Pádraig Pearses 1-9.

Sligo champions very good in that 2nd half and have the tails up for extra time now.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

OakLeaf

Coolera hung in there well. Bad miss by pearses to wrap it up.

Only caught last 20, but very good game, team Coolera/Strandhill for the day.

Is there a big/ dominant club from Sligo town? I know it's more like a soccer town.

SLIGONIAN

Coolera did very well to wrestle back momentum 5 pts down. This ref though is heavily favoring Pearses imo. Hopefully he is a bit fairer in ET.

St Mary's are the town Gaa club.
Not sure if there is another team based in the town itself.
Not dominant though - Tourlestrane did 7 in a row in recent years.

Fair play to them. Getting very little from referee too.

Half time in extra time Coolera/Strandhill 1-14 Pádraig Pearses 1-12. A shock on the cards?

In the melting pot. Those two late scores from Pearses after the Coolera goal could be crucial yet

PP 3/1 now. Coolera/Strandhill need to push up and not sit back. Pearses will press the kickouts strongly.

Having only seen extra time, this is terrific stuff.

What a result for Coolera Strandhill. Poor effort dropped short with the last attack. Some Connacht championship this year.
