Quote from: Laois Abu on November 15, 2025, 11:07:47 AMIt's an absolute disgrace that Enda Rowland isn't with Laois anymore. You do all you can to keep men like him, with his leadership and puck out abilities. He's a leader and the young lads would look up to him and he would drive standards. I heard it's not Tommy that Cha and Rowland have beef with but other people on management team who not liked

I disagree entirely.

He stepped away last year.
I believe he was asked back this year but declined. What more could management do? Force him?

Framing this as something 'disgraceful' is wrong...

Why do you think he stepped away?

I don't know. But I won't speculate.

Do you?

Have Clough/Ballacolla any chance against ballyhale in Nowlan Park this weekend? I see Adrain Mullen is suspended after fallout from row at end of K/Killoughey game the last day. Heard he was injured anyway after breaking his finger form the dirty blow he got that started row.

Blueforever

C Ballacolla have very little chance of beating Ballyhale ,Ballyhale would probably beat the Laois Senior team

No chance, I actually think this CB is a weaker side than the one that faced BH a few years back. It looks like Picky won't be able to play much of a role either, and its against teams like BH where you need all your top class guys available, and firing.

I'm just hoping they can keep it respectable, and I think anything under a 10 pont loss will be a good result.

Laois Rising

With the game in Nowlan Park as well this should be a fairly one sided game. I'm predicting a 10-15 point victory here for Ballyhale with the game fizzling out early enough. That's not to discredit C/B. They are not at full strength and Ballyhale have home county advantage and playing very well at the minute.

Best of luck to Clough/bolla sunday won't be easy again a serious team.

No, Ballacolla haven't a prayer against Ballyhale, sorry to say.

Would be nice to see Clonad get a win against Clane, get to a final. But it's Kildare's ninth best against Laois's 19th best team - at least in theory. I know the whole Kildare hurling thing is driven by Naas, but surely that'd raise standards in other clubs, at least somewhat? I'd say Kildare has at least as many hurlers as Laois.

Laois man

Are Clane a senior team??

Laois man

Or is there only 8 senior teams in kildare??

Genocide Organ

Clane won Kildare's Senior 'B'. Eight teams in the Senior proper.
