Zooming around

Are all the games in O'Moore Park or are some of them in club venues?

Does anyone have the full senior fixtures for Round 1?

Verbal

I think people are being very optimistic about Castletown's chances against Clough Ballacolla.
Hope I am wrong, but having seen then in the league I'd be expecting 10 points + in it.
Hope I'm wrong!

Verbal i think alot of teams in the league were down alot of players but hard to see Ctown beating the county champs. Will be a good side do in 2 to 3 years i think.

Abbeyleix were very poor tonight but I think we might just be seeing The Harps turn a corner. A long road to travel before you could say they are definite championship contenders but I wouldn't be surprised to see them in the semi-finals...at least.

Spiritof1915

Easier said than done but if you hold the 3 Byrne brothers, you ll go a long way to beating Abbeyleix.
The Harps done that in the main and dealt with Rowlands pucks outs effectively.
I have to say that the new championship format has the potential to have meaningful fixtures right down to the wire.
Scoring difference will be hugely important

I'll tell you what, Borris aren't going to win any championship. They were miles off it last night. Steeped to get a win against Ballinakill, only time they led was after the final puck.

Blueforever

After seeing 3 championship matches at the weekend standard terrible like practice matches no wonder Kildare hammered us in Joe mc Donagh  county players completely anonymous with the exception of Cha who was brilliant from center back for Ballinakill
On a side note it's nearly time matches played on smaller club grounds maybe get a bit of atmosphere and more exciting games no aosphere at all in  omoore park

You're 100% right. Standard has been very poor thus far. Even the Ballacolla game this afternoon left a lot to be desired. Maybe the heat is a contributing factor.

A very poor advertisement for moving from 8 to 10 senior teams.

RE by far the best team on show with The Harps showing some improvements alongside Ballinakill who were more than decent.

CB and BK were poor enough in winning but to be fair to CB, I'm basing that more on how awful the opposition were.

Abbeyleix won't be as bad again and Portlaoise have enough about them to suggest that they will cause problems.

RE favourites; CB, Camross and The Harps to contend. Rosenallis or Castletown for the drop.

Laois man

Castletown won't go down 8 u20s hurling today they were poor but from last year short conor and Joe phelan Benny reddin Dylan Conroy. Camross won't be as bad again.. Great start for the Harps but can they push on?
