Two match ban for Fergal Boland for striking out late on in the Roscommon game has been confirmed this afternoon.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Quote from: From the Bunker on June 04, 2024, 09:19:38 PMCapacity of Hyde 18,890? You'll never fit all those famed travelling Dubs in there? You do know the Dubs will travel anywhere in large numbers?

That was the restricted capacity, redevelopment work done since and it's 23,900 now

Still won't be enough room. The Dubs travel in large numbers, especially in the Championship. Just look at the statistics. They love a good journey across the Shannon.  ;D
I'm guessing 18 to 20k will attend that Hyde Park round 3 game and I might be optimistic on that figure given the attendances in this group so far for both Dublin and Mayo games.

Roscommon v Mayo - 8,597

Mayo v Cavan - 9,197

Dublin v Roscommon - 11,176

Cavan v Dublin - 9,028

Roscommon Herald reported earlier that 14000 tickets sold for Dublin Mayo as of Friday morning. With capacity of 24,000, looks like it will fall well short.

Roscommon hearld have a fantastic research team at their paper , they had all the numbers crunched and wemt with the headline

"While the "Blue Army" is coming to town, the game doesn't appear to have captured the imagination of the Mayo public"

The rossies even know what we imagine .
Walk-in down mchale rd , sun out, summers day , game day . That's all .

MAGA Make Armagh Great Again

Rossfan

Stone mad game with no or little defending.
44 scores, about 16 or so wides meaning around 60 kick outs.
Like a challenge or pitch opening game.
We won for only the 2nd time in 2024 which was some consolation.

Terrible crowd 3,9 something.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

The blanket defence, the problem with modern football.

By all accounts a copy of Armagh v Roscommon 2018 game.

Seán MacMahon, Tom Lahiff & Colm Basquel all start for Dublin

They replace Daire Newcombe, Killian McGinnis & Paul Mannion

For Mayo a defensive change. Rory Brickenden for Cillian O'Connor

3 times the ref has got involved so far when he maybe didn't have to. 3 times in Dublin's favour.
