Portarlington looking while still in this year's championship? Strange

Well, they know Pat Roe is unavailable next year so I suppose they can't wait too long.

Verbal

Unavailable due to taking something else on? Or just stepping down?

Like the rest of the port lads....... Gone travelling.
Heard port were making approaches to managers already

The PRO

Josephs also on the lookout after Mick Dempsey has stepped down.

Few interesting appointments last few weeks. I think Eddie Kinsella is an astute bit of business from Ballylinan, experienced at winning this intermediate and they definitely won't fear Ballyfin coming down from Senior. No word from Ballyfin on whwt their management team will comprise of just yet, I have heard though that John Noonan is apparently taking over from Coss at Mountmellick.

On the senior end of things, still a couple interesting vacancies, Port being the most high profile probably followed by the vacancy at Emo.

Declan Mullaly from O'Dempseys is suppose to be looking for the port job. anyone hear on this wouldn't know much about him.

Managed The Rock a few years ago. Think he was with Nurney in Kildare this year?

I saw the heath have appointed Donacha Phelan as their manager for the year. That must be nearly everyone sorted with a manager for the year now is it?

Butch Cassidy

Port still looking for a replacement for Roe, be interesting to see who'll come in as there'll be the team to beat next year if they can keep most of the team together. Turlogh staying on with Portlaoise? They'll be in transition, need to bring through the younger lads

Important one for Port as Roe was excellent with managing all the lads coming back from abroad and navigated those first couple rounds well. Off the top of my head it's only them and Emo to get sorted with a manager now in the senior that is. Ballyfin are probably the only intermediate club that are still on the look out too.
