Yep. Few hours after signing a peace deal.

Jaysus. Assume it was civillians they executed if they've released the IDF scum?

Cuntanyahu's claims of "a war against Hamas" look fairly hollow now.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Assume Hamas were doing internal house cleaning.

Trump said Tuesday that Hamas "did take out a couple of gangs that were very bad," and killed a number of gang members. "That didn't bother me much, to be honest with you," he said.

You can imagine the internal turmoil going on within Hamas. There's 67k dead and all the resentment and bitterness that those emotions will evoke. There will be doves and hawks and dozens of variations in between.

Bound to be all sorts of power stuggles within their own ranks for hearts and minds....never mind the support base....the ones on the margins of the support base....and those Palestines who don't support Hamas at all.

And in the eyes of Israel all it will take is one splinter group or even a few individuals to open up on IDF who are only hundreds of years away, to ignite the whole thing and give Nethuayanu an excuse to say Hamas broke the agreement and all bets are off.

It dosent take a genius to see how flawed this is.

Does anyone here even think this will last more than a few months?

the ceasefire? Def not. Israel will take any opportunity, real or not, to break it and will blame Hamas

I think Israel will break it whether or not Hamas does anything at all.

The ceasefire is being overseen by Egypt, Turkey, Qatar and the US. The 3 Muslim countries are supervising Hamas. 200 US soldiers are overseeing Israel. There should be enough smacht.

And there are more facts – facts surprisingly articulated by none other than Trump himself in his speech to the Knesset: "Ultimately the world wins. You can't beat the world."

The rising tide of global public opinion, slowly translating public outrage into foreign policy beginning to affect trade agreements, sports, culture and academia – this unbeatable pulse of a global conscience being awakened – is what ultimately made the difference. This is a lesson worth remembering.

That psycho Netanyahu blithering on about Iran et al being an existential threat to Israel.

Israel cannot survive without the support of the western powers, losing that support threatens Israel's very existence.

His insane bloodlust has contrived to lose that support amongst the populace of every country in the world. The political class, of whom the current version do not represent the mood of their electorate, will be replaced by people who do represent the feelings of the populace and Israel's goose will be well and truly cooked.

For most people, the goings-on in the middle east are not the most important factor. Sadly, the Jews still control a lot of international finance capital in the west, so they'll always have more power and influence than they should.
