This is what is going to happen.

Netanyahu made a mistake in bombing Qatar, which Trump didn't like.  But Trump has a short attention span.

Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday that he welcomed the agreement to secure a cease-fire and the release of hostages in Gaza, adding France will continue to hold talks with international partners to seek a political solution to the war.

"This agreement must mark the end of the war and the beginning of a political solution based on the two-state solution," Macron said in posts on social media platform X.

Netanyahu doesn't want a two state solution and any talk of that let alone any form of implementation of that will scupper the Greater Israel project that was promised to the Zionists 2000+ years ago...

This is enough to scupper any peace process.

Beautifully timed for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace prize tomorrow. He is that narcissistic and cynical.
If he doesn't get it, after tomorrow not one f*** will he give whether Israel keeps to the deal or not.

Surely Greta Thunberg will get it?

With the hostages returned, Israel has less of an excuse to pummel Gaza.
The Israeli excusers were using that as justification.

'Humanitarian situation in Gaza remains catastrophic' - UNICEF
UNICEF Ireland has said it welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza.
In a statement, Peter Power, Executive Director of UNICEF Ireland, said it was a critical and long-awaited step toward "ending the violence that has brought immense suffering to children and families".
However, he added that while the cessation of hostilities offered a "glimmer of hope, the path to recovery and lasting peace will be long and fraught with challenges".
He added that: "The humanitarian situation in Gaza remains catastrophic."

The countries that recognised Palestine recently are sick and tired of Israeli intransigence. Now that the war is over Israel can have elections. Netanyahu will lose. A new leader will be more pragmatic

Why do you suppose Oz, UK and Canada simultaneously recognised it? Because Blairs network is over seeing this process.

Qatar and the UAE will rebuild Gaza. $53bn required.
They could also build the A5 and Casement if they have any spare time.

No one will rebuild it while there is the prospect of Israel levelling it again.

• Gaza deal must not be 'reset button' for future conflict - Oxfam
Oxfam Ireland says that "today must "mark the beginning of a permanent end to Israel's illegal occupation and the systematic oppression of Palestinians".
Its Chief Executive Jim Clarken described the ceasefire announcement as "very welcome".
However, he said that it "cannot be a temporary pause in violence, but must be a permanent end to the bloodshed, suffering and destruction wreaked on the people of Gaza over these past two years ... a calculated campaign of collective punishment".
"This ceasefire must be the first step toward justice, not a reset button for further atrocities.
"The return of hostages on both sides is imperative, and we must continue to demand justice and freedom for Palestinians on their own land without concessions," Mr Clarken added in a statement.
