i would have to say it was tony scullion,an absolute legend and a great sportsman.played the game hard and fair.i spent an hour in his company at a campa chormaic function in armagh one night and he is a real down to earth fella.i would place henry downey 2nd and tohill 3rd.

Anthony Tohill gets my vote! The man was immense for Derry in 93 and the 90's in general, and had he netted after that rampaging run through the Down defence in Celtic Park where Neil Collins tipped it over the bar in 94, another Sam would have been resting in the Sperrins that year!!

Thank God Collins got a hand to it!!

Dermor mcNicholl was the best down player I ever seen, closely followed by Downey and Tohill. Tohill was fantastic to watch but Dermott was as good as i have ever seen on his day, up there with Corvan and that wee bastid from tyrone.
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Frankie Boy

V good question. Went for McKeever. Great wee player.
LOL. HA HA!

I don't know how anyone could vote for Brolly up there with those other names ...
