I wasn't actually asking, more an attempt at a humourous suggestion that Ferguson might have been telling porkies

5 away league wins all season....the writing really was on the wall.  One of Ferguson's worst teams and certainly his most negative.  Midfield needs a complete revamp......humiliating.

Totally agree, though doesn't take away from another successful season & next year the final is in Munich & that place is already written in their history so who know's? i just know united will have a better chance of winning the Cup if the opposition isn't Barcelona 


Edwin van der Sar, who retires this summer: "It was one game too many, I think. It's never nice to lose. They had the better chances but we made one or two mistakes and they punish you. United won a poor Premiership and the fact that such a poor team got to the Champions League Final . . . well it just shows how lucky a run English teams get in this competition!! As everyone suspected at the start of the season! An average team!!!

In what way? Barcelona had one hard game (Real Madrid) & same with United (Chelsea)
It's no hype they are the 2 best teams in Europe! one of them is just clearly better.
