Goats Do Shave

Ah now, Dennis & Gustavo (not to mention Davey Healy) will save the day!!

Rossie11

To qualify for final
Utd 1/2 Milan 6/4
Surely bookies are going OTT on the Roma game.
Its a 50/50 game in my book.

If it was Man U V Bayern then yes those prices are fair but Milan in a semi-final of Europes biggest competition are a different beast..

I think his comments on Liverpool that night was when Dunphy was found out to be what he is..a complete attention seeker
His views on Ronaldo have just got stupid now,if he'd just be a man an admit he's wrong about him it wouldn't be so bad

Laoislad, Liverpool *were* terribly negative in the second half against Barca. Most of us said the same thing.... I am a Liverpool fan, but I have no problem admitting that Liverpool have a severely 'pragmatic' outlook. Man united would have tried to beat PSV 8-0 last night. Liverpool didn't care about that. Just get the job done and move on.

I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing by the way.

I doubt very much United would have tried to win 8-0 last night or even against Roma if they had have been 3 up after the first leg
Firstly they wouldn't have had their best 11 out secondly why would they or Liverpool go gung ho when your 3 up and risk injury and yellow cards?

As for Liverpool v Barcelona and Dunphys comments and your views,You both seem to forget to mention Liverpool could have been 4 up at half time and why with 20mins to go and Barcelona still needing two goals why would Liverpool do anything other than defend and hope to catch Barca on the counter why would they go chase another goal and thus leaving gaps at the back???

Honestly lads, liverpool are brutal to watch. the brother is a pool fanatic since the good times but he won't sit down and watch a live pool game over the past 4/5 years.

Well said. Its unbelieveable those dicks expected us to keep attacking with 20 mins left. Barca had all the work to do, so why not rely on one of our strenghths (defense, which is as much a part of football as  attacking) to get us through?!

'Gerrard a nothing player' ...What a twat, does anybody take him seriously?

magpie seanie

Ronaldo has signed a new 5 year deal with United. Great news.

Goats Do Shave

Fantastic news!  ;D

Wonder what he's on now!??  :o

Though if one player deserves the big money, it's him....a joy to watch!

Redgreenery

Thats great news to hear!! Was wondering about Real Madrid and all that but glad to hear he chose to stay at Old Trafford!

brokencrossbar1

That is a major coup for manure keeping him, though I suspect that his agent was playing very clever tricks saying that Real were going to pay silly money for him so that he got the deal he wanted.

I really wish some day that clubs would call the agents bluff and say that if Real, Milan or whoever are going to bid that then no deal will be offered the player without the bid being confirmed.  As Curly Sue would say "I'd love it"

magpie seanie

That's pro sport for you. His agent wouldn't be doing his job correctly if he didn't get the best deal for him.

Guaranteed full price for him now this summer

Really 4/5 years..Pity for him so he would have missed great comebacks against Olympiakos and wins over Juventus,Barcelona,Chelsea, FA Cup Finals/Champions League Finals etc..he should really start watching them if he's a fanatic ::)
