There was graffiti death threats... & threats on his family!

No there wasn't. Read his book (if you can manage to stay awake through it).

I think Ronnie will stay, Huntelaar will arrive and it will be back to business come September.

If Chelsea get Kaka though they are going to be favourites for the league

I think the Kaka thing is being spun by Milan, so they can turn to their fans and say 'how good are we to turn down the money to keep your idols' type thing.

How well would he have been accepted back if he said, the reason for staying was due to these threats??

"He kisses the badge on his chest, puts in a transfer request Steve Ger_rard Ger_rard!!"

You really are clucking at straws, using a website from Australia based on "newspaper reports" from Britsih newspaper. That alone would stop me reading any further. I'd try another google search if I was you.

Get over the fact, he stayed. That "song" has to be the most stupid going, singing about a player leaving who never left.  ::)  ::)

Unfortunately I'm in work, most of the sites are blocked in here! do a search yourself!

He doesn't bother me either way, he's never played well against the current champs!

And i always thought our intrepid AFR had the inside line on everything that happens within the corridors of power at Trafford Stadium......
"When it's too tough for them, it's just right for us"

AZOffaly

In fairness the report was from Madridista paper Marca, and the syntax was interesting. Real Madrid 'intend' to...

I'm sure they 'intend to' win the Champions League next season, but that probably won't happen either.

AFR is in the clear on this one.

Reports coming out of Spain are linking Manchester United with a multi-million pound bid for Sergio Aguero after the player's agent spoke of an English approach for the forward.

Agent Jose Segui has been quoted saying that a 'leading English team' have asked him to approach Atletico Madrid, and Segui ruled out Chelsea.

At 20 years of age, Aguero is already the star of the Atletico XI, and would easily command a transfer fee of around £30 million.

Liverpool wanted the Argentina international before he joined Atleti, and Rafa Benitez could use Xabi Alonso as part of a deal to bring Aguero to Anfield.

Arsene Wenger meanwhile would also have the funds if he sold Emmanuel Adebayor, but the Frenchman is notoriously thrifty in the transfer market.

The most obvious move would be United, where Aguero would act as a replacement for wantaway attacker Cristiano Ronaldo.

Segui is reported as saying on Saturday: "I have had interest from a leading English team and they have asked me to approach Atletico with a bid.

"I cannot say more until I have spoken to the club about the offer.

"All I can tell you is that it is one of the best teams in Europe and it's not Chelsea."
