Fecker of an injury to come back from and thats not the first long term injury he's had. Any player United lose from the starting this definitely a blow at this stage when you're going to be relying on a man pushing 40 and Lindelof now to give us something

But sure there are losing with him in the team so then briing in backs up and they lose, is hardly a massive loss

Out of contention in the league for European places the Cup competitions became the priority and managed to remain unbeaten in Europa League and progressed past Arsenal away in the FA Cup with him in the side.  Will be harder to win either of those competitions without one of their best defenders now and I don't think they have like for like replacement to fill in.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

🚨 Rio Ferdinand: "Paul Pogba BACK to Man United? I'd say to Pogba: Come in and train with us, let me see what you've got. I'd do that".

"I would have done that already. Come in and get fit".

Just got one poison out and looking another in, surely not

Pogba had  a  decade  at United to show what he could do.

All that  his time at United amounted to was daft  haircuts , stupid dancing  celebrations and  his 400 step penalties.

He was as an  absolute bell end of the highest order. Anyone advocating  that he comes near United again (even with the current mayhem) needs  their head examined

Agreed. Trying to get rid of overpaid tossers and reset the culture and system, not bring another one in who'll be injured half the year and disinterested most of the rest

Impressed that Amorim has taken a zero compromise approach, something many have asked for and v interesting to see it play out, it clearly hasn't been a success but it could pave the way for a proper revival given some good transfer business, a solid pre season and a singular focus on the league with a commitment to picking his best team every week (currently f**king about in that regard)

What I was thinking though, given the Portugese affinity for Barcelona and Real Madrid, if he was offered either of those jobs on the basis he wasn't to stick dogmatically to 3-4-3 then I think he'd be playing 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 in a heartbeat

Which brings me to my final point on the gaffer. Rashford refuses to run, Amorim refuses to play a winning team/formation, it strikes me that they have something in common, can't quite put my finger on it, apathy and extreme stubbornness might be second cousins who knows

Sir Jim, Brailsford and Ineos, these are deluded charlatans. Asking the government to subsidise their development project, releasing vision 21 or whatever it is that they'll win their 21st PL title in the next 5 years, they're gaslighting the fans. In 5 years Jim won't be next or near the place and there won't be a new stadium in place. Utd might well be the new Red Sox

Substandard

I think Rashford had to go, and next I'd argue Fernandes.  Absolutely he delivered for a few seasons but things were already sinking fast, and he looked as if he had the passion and drive you'd want in a United player.  Now, however,  there's too many nondescript performances and far too much petulance, and I think it's hindering players around him, especially the younger lads.  Nabbing the odd goal or assist is only masking the fact that, while there are many problems at United now, if he isn't one, then at the very least he's symptomatic of many of them.

One of the few bright sparks for Man United this season Amad Diallo is to miss the rest of the season with an ankle injury.  Mainoo also ruled out for a number of weeks and Collyer, ugarte injury doubts.
