United played their part in a good quality contest and could easily have grabbed a hard earned draw but undone by 90th minute goal. Arsenal in fairness pressed hard late on and were rewarded.

3 tough games in a week took its toll and the loss of Casemiro proved costly. 6 points is the gap to 5th now, load of work to do in the 2nd half of the season to finish top 4 and will have to be lucky with injuries and suspensions in order to get it.

Jeepers Creepers

Arsenal deserved the victory but Ten Hag has Utd progressing to where they won't to be.

Hard to see what Antony offers the team.

Good game between 2 quality sides. Arsenal deserved the win, United a forward or two light and obviously Casemiro huge loss.

Fred
McTominay
Weghorst

All not good enough. Not Utd players. At least Maguire seems to be canned for good as well. Utd are probably 4 or 5 players short and is mad to say that given the money that they have spent. The Recruitment has been awful. Bright side though if EtH gets the right players in I have no doubt he can manage a title winning side.

Jury out on Antony as well.

If Arsenal don't win the league from here it will be some bottle job.

The moment Casemiro was booked against Palace I knew we wouldn't beat Arsenal who also benefitted from a free week; Surprised none of the pundits mentioned that, it certainly played its part in the last half hour where United really began to tire.

Wan Bisaka showed why he'll be shipped out come the summer, time and time again he falls asleep from crosses when he's defending the back post and he's poor aerially for a tall lad.

In the circumstances with a game midweek you're never going to get away with 3 players who aren't good enough in Wan Bisaka, McTominay & Weghorst. McTominay can probably do a job coming in playing further forward but he just doesn't have the attributes to replicate what Casemiro does. Arteta has had over 3 years in the job and has had a good bit of time to work with the majority of his players and it shows. I'm amazed at how well they've done but they've been lucky with injuries, the depth of their squad will likely be tested in the 2nd half of the season.

There won't be many clubs in Europe who'll play more games then United this year, he's going to have to use the squad.

Arsenal much the better team yet Utd can consider themselves unlucky not to have came away with the point.

They're making the most of their visits into the oppositions box but still work to do in the keeper, fullback areas and in midfield with strength in depth.

Yeah pretty spot on. Take nothing away from Arsenal who are looking seriously good. Would have been a massive ask going there and winning even with a full deck and fresh legs, never mind missing arguably our most important player and coming off the back of 2 tough games already in a week. Surely theres a youngster on the books who'd come in and take minutes off Weghorst, just doesn't look good enough at all. Should have enough to comfortably come 4th and win a cup from here.

Lol, half way through the season and it's a bottle job. If they literally draw two games and city win theirs they're right on their tails. Arsenal are due a loss.

Man City's second string team would beat United and arsenal on average 9 weeks out of 10. Youve the odd blip like uniteds win a few weeks ago.

The money spent on that United team is scandalous . Antony is the worst waste of money I've seen since Pogba .

They're 5 clear with a game in hand. Newcastle-esque if they don't win it from here.

Only half the season gone and Arsenal have to play Man City twice.  All to play for.

That's just, like your opinion man.

I can't see Arsenal doing it tbh, especially not with all the pressure United fans are putting on them on here. Bound to crack......

Trailer's WUM antics haven't worked on the Tyrone thread for years but we'll see if we can get him onto Twitter (if he's not already on it) to put pressure on there to defend his narrative
