Fully deserved that victory, Spurs were poxed to find themselves level at half time. The not so special one sent back to London pointless. McTominay makes a massive difference to the team. A very frustrating group of Uniteds players who can raise their game against the better sides and lose or draw against mediocre teams.

As a non united fan this is everything that’s wrong with united. Rashford clearly had a point to prove to Jose and he’ll think he’s made it tonite. They’ll revert to type and spurs will finish ahead of them

One win won’t make Utd a better team, Spurs played in the Champions league final and have been top four for many seasons. Why beating Spurs tonight would anyone think they will automatically get better? Utd have been mediocre, that’s why they are in that current position. Reverting to type will be at the weekend and most away games! ( bar Liverpool)

Rashford has been in good form in recent weeks. Wouldn't have a lot to prove as he was one of the players that Jose regularly praised. The opposite to be said about Martial, Pogba or Shaw.
