There's the problem with those articulating these views.

Name an attacker who could have been bought last summer who could have made a real difference.
Naming Hernandez and Wilson is a laugh - they've consistently proven they're not good enough. United already have the firepower to beat most teams in England and mid level teams in Europe.

What's missing is the top quality bracket player - they're all tied down.

The big problem is LVG thought that Rooney would score a lot more goals then he has done but in reality he's finished at this level. Hernandez wasn't good enough and wasn't suited to the way we played. I'm annoyed that Wilson hasn't got more games but in fairness he's been injured for most of the season and we do have a recall option on him.

Its not just our forwards as we've not been creating enough chances although against Watford & West Ham we did and Rooney featured in  neither games. Basti is getting forward a lot more than he did and we've been getting more players into the box when crosses have come in. I'd like to see a front 3 of Lingard, Martial & Depay with Herrera in behind and Basti & Schniderlin as the midfield 2. There's enough pace and creativity in that team and we'd be better to watch.

That is what kills me, they cant score and Wilson is available yet they will not bring him bag, the kid is a stud and deserves a run. he has speed to burn and can finish, I do not see the problem here.

Wilson was consistenly on the bench. He should have played more. Hernandez has scored 11 in the last 10 games for Bayer Leverkusen.

Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund has been very good for a few seasons. A player they could have gone for...

Won player of the month in German I see. Nani had a good season in Portugal last year he is as good as Valencia, young or Depay.

Can anymore here see Manchester United getting the win they require in Germany tomorrow night? Another draw and early champions league exit looks the most likely outcome.

On current form no... They need to score goals and who's going to do that?
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Nani ffs!! That good he's playing in Turkey. He doesn't have the right mentaility to play for a top club. Hernandez wouldn't have scored goals in this system and his all round play wasn't good enough for United. The one player who we should have tried harder to keep hold of in the last few years was Evra.

Manchester United were a top side in a better Premier league when Nani won this.

If true they should tell him to fcuk off and rescind his contract if they have a morals clause which I would expect they do, a great way to get rid of an overweight idiot who is a liability both on and off the field.

Only time will tell if the rumour is true but if it is the case then I doubt that it could be kept quiet. The United fanzines have far better contacts have better contacts than any of the journo's that cover the club.

I haven't got a clue what to expect tonight, we can get beat and still go through. PSV & Wolfsburg under as much pressure as we are and CSKA know a win will keep them in Europe and knock PSV out.

I'm hoping he plays with Depay & Lingard on the wings tonight, can safely say I've never predicted a team right under LVG though.

On a different note I hope Januzaj is brought back from loan, he's not playing over there and would be getting more minutes at OT, would much prefer him over Mata.

Boycey

Theres some element of truth in the story cause RedIssue wouldn't have tweeted it if they weren't sure of their facts... But did he turn up drunk? Doubtful.

Big night for Louis I reckon, a win and the pressure will ease for a bit, lose and the mumblings from the disaffected will get louder...
