You're right. Noone should bother taking an interest nor having a (blind useless) opinion.

Sport would be a much better concept that way
Leave it to the pro's  ;)

As the song goes, "If Moyes can manage United, so can I".

Jeepers Creepers

Rooney should be moved to the holding midfield role. Can tackle, has the range of passing and can score from distance.

Id say that's where he we will retreat too in the latter end of his career.

Think there is still business to be done both incoming and outgoing before the end of this window.

I think the fee is pretty much irrelevant, LVG obviously wants him and sees the need for him in his squad so they paid the money, as long as it doesnt affect the chances of bringing in other signings then I would not be in a worry.

Shrewdness

One player who won't be coming to United is Mehdi Benatia of Roma.. Seems to be very close to joining Bayern Munich and could be having a medical tomorrow. As far as i know, United didn't bid for him.

Armamike

Excellent player, Di Maria. Will be interesting to see how he fits  in and what impact he has in the short term.
That's just, like your opinion man.

It's hardly a fair comparison GJL.

Madrid have scored over 100 goals each of the past 5 seasons (for comparison, only 3 times has a club in the history of the EPL topped 100 goals in a season).

He's also spent the past few years giving the ball to CR7.

His stats are impressive, no doubt. But Ozil's were every bit as impressive this time last year. Let's see how it pans out.

Fair points indeed but he still will add much to this side. If it will be enough to get them back to the top 4 will depend on who joins him before this day week.

Is Di Maria not one of the reasons they have scored over 100 goals?

As the always excellent @evilkagawa has described it

QuoteMaria - 17 assist 1 season!

17 pass to Ronaldo/Bale = 17 assist

17,000 pass to Valencia/Welbeck/Young = 0 assist
